Maureen Christine & Michael Bazan

program!"

Maureen is an award-winning concert vocalist and national recording

artist with a voice "crystal clear, not a note or syllable wasted."  Maureen

has received invitations to sing for dignitaries including Astronaut Buzz Aldrin,

shared the stage with pop star Barry Manilow, opened for Willie Nelson and Helen

Reddy, and performed with musicians of the Count Basie Orchestra. Maureen is also

highly regarded for her singing of The National Anthem and has sung for dignitaries,

the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field and actors Dennis Quade & Zach Effron. Maureen

has also headlined with numerous Big Bands, Concerts Bands, and Symphony Orchestras including the Indiana Symphony, the Galesburg Symphony and the Whiting Park Symphony Orchestra.  Maureen's CD "My Romance" received Grammy consideration in "Traditional Pop Vocal Category" and features Pete Christlieb of The Johnny Carson Tonight Show Orchestra.

Michael is a highly-regarded woodwind player. As a professional musician, Michael has played saxophone, flute, and clarinet, with a number of musical legends, including Billy Eckstine, Cab Calloway, Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis, Frankie Valli, The Platters, The Four Tops, The Buckinghams, The Shirelles, Milton Berle, The Dorsey Brothers Orchestra and legendary entertainer Jerry Lewis.  Michael has also performed in various symphony orchestras, including the Rockford Symphony Orchestra and the Galesburg Symphony. An active musician, Michael continues to learn and perform in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest.  His musicianship can be appreciated on numerous commercials and several “Veggie Tales” videos.  Michael is also recognized as a first-rate Music Director. He serves as  Director of Bands at Wredling School St. Charles. Under his leadership, his bands have excelled, received accolades, top ratings in music competitions and garnered first place ratings in various music competitions.
